After over a year of writing, recording, and collaborating; Anime Girl is finally released her first debut EP titled, “Soulja of Misfortune” on September 25, 2009. Not too long after will come the release of the collaborative effort between Anime Girl and various talented artists for what is to become the first of a series of mixed tape releases called, “Collaborations Mixed Tape”. Volume One should be released before the end of 2009. Anime Girl began work on her second EP, “Mission of Love”. After the gritty sound and soul searching dark lyrics of Soulja of Misfortune, she will be working on a more up-tempo sound with this album. Not to worry, there will still be the usual antics and audio surprises as with the first release. |
