Hella Kitty Records began in the Fall of 2007 to represent both of the music projects of Madeline Roa. The Urban Acoustic project is produced, written, and performed by Madeline Roa as recordings for online sales and TV and Film Licensing opportunities. The other music project, Anime Girl the New Beat Poet, is a fusion of atmospheric electronic and acoustic soundscapes mixed together with the vocal delivery ranging from rhythmic spoken word neo-beat poetry, soulful vocals, and ethereal modern opera. The New Beat Poet project is also performed live.
Hella Kitty Records also produces poetry & conscious hip/hop shows.
In the studio, Madeline Roa collaborates with various artists and produces beat tracks for local poets and emcee's under the music project; Anime Girl the New Beat Poet, for a fee as "work for hire" or as a collaborative trade
